What am I up to in August 2026? I’m:
- I’m teaching English to government staff that’s focused on professional international engagement within/across ASEAN.
- I’m learning (a lot) about how to use AI tools.
- I’m on holiday! I’ve just spent a week in Bali, listening to the surf and drinking cocktails.
- I’m on holiday! I’m about to go for the first time to the Timorese island of Ata’uro, which was appearing in my dreams many years before I knew it existed.
- I’m doing research for a book on the origins of modern Druidry.
- I’m developing my skills in divination: currently the tarot reading and geomancy.
- I’m psyched up to start a full-on campaign to get my physical health back to where it was when I was 39.
- I’m coming to terms with the fact that the country I thought I was from no longer exists.
